BIMOVIS looks back on an inspiring Vernissage at BioLabs. An evening that beautifully connected science, art, and community. The exhibition “Proteins – the Power of Life” showcased how molecular structures can unfold their aesthetic potential far beyond the laboratory.
Artist and designer Jennifer Fink opened the event by sharing her artistic vision and explaining how she transforms complex protein architectures into expressive visual compositions. Her insights into form, color, and creative decision-making offered guests a valuable glimpse into her process.
Throughout the evening, a lively exchange emerged among colleagues, partners, and members of the local community. The visualized protein structures sparked curiosity, leading to questions, conversations, and the sharing of new perspectives — a dialogue that blended scientific interest with an appreciation for artistic interpretation.
The atmosphere was open, dynamic, and filled with moments of discovery. Visitors explored the intersection of art and science, discussing the role of molecular structures and their relevance in everyday life. With wine and light refreshments, the evening concluded in a warm and convivial setting.
