MOLECULAR
Images & Animations

Communicate molecular complexity through scientifically accurate images and animations that make your research clear, engaging and accessible.

Bringing Molecular Science to Life

From publication figures to cinematic 3D molecular animation, BIMOVIS creates scientific visuals that help life science organizations communicate complex molecular and biological concepts clearly and accurately.

Our work combines structural biology expertise with professional visual production. Each project is developed through close exchange between BIMOVIS scientists and our Art Director, a trained 3D artist with expertise in molecular and scientific visualization.

We create visuals that are grounded in the underlying science and adapted to the audience they need to reach. This makes the service useful as part of an integrated structural biology workflow, but also as a standalone visualization service for scientific, medical or external communication.

Whether the goal is to explain a molecular mechanism, prepare a publication figure, support a presentation or communicate a therapeutic concept, we help turn complex science into visual material that is accurate, understandable and professionally produced.

How we develop scientific visualizations.

I

Pre-Production

Scientific briefing

We define the biological question, target audience and communication objective before selecting the most appropriate visualization approach.

Concept development

We develop storyboards, molecular compositions and visual concepts that communicate the key biological message clearly.

II

Production

Structural data review

Experimental structures, cryo-EM maps, computational models and supporting datasets are reviewed to establish a scientifically accurate foundation.

Visualization & animation

Proteins, complexes and molecular mechanisms are transformed into high-quality scientific illustrations, 3D molecular animations or mechanism of action animations.

III

Post-Production

Scientific review

Visualizations are reviewed together with the underlying structural biology to ensure biological accuracy and consistency.

Final delivery

Projects are delivered in publication, presentation, web and broadcast formats suitable for scientific communication, marketing or investor engagement.

Where Molecular Images & Animations Make an Impact.

Scientific images and molecular animations support communication wherever complex molecular information needs to be understood beyond the immediate expert group.

Research Communication

Clear structure visualizations, graphical abstracts and publication figures help communicate molecular insight in journals, conferences and collaborative research. They make structural details easier to follow while preserving the scientific accuracy needed for expert audiences.

Medical Communication

Molecular and biological visuals help explain mechanisms, disease biology and therapeutic concepts in a form that remains scientifically reliable and accessible. This is especially valuable when specialist knowledge needs to be translated for broader medical, commercial or educational settings.

Investor & Partner Communication

Complex science often needs to be presented to people who are not working with the data every day. Molecular animations and mechanism of action visuals help show the biological logic behind a technology, target or product concept without overwhelming the audience.

Marketing & Digital Communication

Scientific images and animations can strengthen websites, product communication and digital campaigns by showing the science behind a platform, service or therapeutic approach. The goal is not decoration, but visual communication that reflects the quality of the underlying work.

Education & Training

Images and animations support teaching, onboarding and internal knowledge transfer by making molecular mechanisms easier to explain and discuss. They create a shared visual language for scientific concepts that are otherwise difficult to access.
