MOLECULAR
Visualization

Scientific visualization for molecular, biological and medical communication.

Molecular Visualization.

In life science, much of what matters happens at a scale that cannot be observed directly. Molecular interactions, structural changes and therapeutic mechanisms often need a visual form before they can be understood, discussed and shared.

Molecular visualization gives this hidden layer of science a clear language. It turns complex biological and medical information into visuals that are accurate, accessible and useful for the audience they need to reach.

At BIMOVIS, visualization starts with scientific context. Our work is grounded in structural biology and molecular science, but it is not limited to structural biology projects. We support integrated workflows from data to communication, as well as standalone visualization projects for scientific and medical communication.

Each project is developed through close exchange between BIMOVIS scientists and our Art Director, a trained 3D artist with expertise in molecular and scientific visualization. This combination brings together scientific accuracy, visual quality and a clear understanding of the message behind the image.

Visualization gives complex science a shared language. It helps people understand biology, discuss ideas more clearly and collaborate across disciplines.

Scientific Images & Animation

Scientific images and molecular animations for clear visual communication.

Scientific images and animation help turn complex molecular or medical content into a clear visual story. They support situations where data, structures or mechanisms need to be presented in a way that is accurate, understandable and engaging.

At BIMOVIS, each image or animation is developed from the available scientific information. We work closely with you to define the message, choose the right level of detail and create visuals for publications, presentations, websites, medical communication or external scientific storytelling.

The result is a visual interpretation of the science, created with attention to accuracy, context and audience.

STILLS & MOTION

Immersive molecular visualization representing interactive exploration of biological structures in virtual reality.

Virtual Reality for Molecular Visualization

Immersive formats for scientific content that needs spatial context.

Virtual reality can make molecular and biological information easier to explore. It is particularly useful when a viewer needs to understand scale, orientation or the relationship between different components.

BIMOVIS develops virtual reality experiences that remain connected to the scientific content. The focus is not on immersion as an effect, but on creating an interactive format that helps people engage with complex science in a more direct way.

These formats support training, scientific communication, conferences and product-related discussions, especially when a static figure cannot fully convey the spatial aspect of the topic.

VR / AR

3D Molecular Models & 3D Printing

Physical molecular models for discussion, teaching and presentation.

Some scientific ideas become easier to explain when they can be held and explored as physical objects. A 3D molecular model creates a shared reference point for discussion and helps make abstract molecular information more tangible.

BIMOVIS designs molecular models from structural or scientific data and prepares them for physical production. The level of detail can be adapted to the setting, from expert discussions to education, exhibitions or outreach.

These models are useful when shape, surface or molecular architecture are central to the message.

3D PRINT

BIMOVIS Studio

An interactive molecular visualization tool for researchers.

BIMOVIS Studio is an intuitive visualization platform for working with molecular structures. It allows researchers to upload, inspect and present their own protein structures and molecular assemblies without requiring specialized visualization expertise.

The tool is designed for scientific workflows where clear molecular views are needed quickly and reliably. It supports research discussions, teaching, collaboration and presentations while keeping the visual output grounded in structural accuracy.

BIMOVIS Studio extends our visualization offer with an interactive format that gives scientists direct access to their own structural data.

BIMOVIS STUDIO

Why Work With BIMOVIS?

BIMOVIS visualization is developed in close scientific exchange. We treat molecular structures, biological mechanisms and medical concepts as scientific information that needs careful translation.

Our strength lies in the combination of structural biology expertise, molecular science and professional visual production. Visual concepts are shaped together with our Art Director, a trained 3D artist, so that scientific accuracy and visual quality are developed side by side.

This makes the service suitable for both integrated structural biology projects and standalone visualization work. In both cases, the goal is the same: visual material that is accurate, clear and useful for the audience it needs to reach.
